Jaco Buys

 

Jaco Buys has twenty two years’ experience as a field guide. He has worked in Southern and East Africa, conducting mobile safaris as well as managing Five star lodges. He holds a Professional Trails Guide qualification through FGASA and has been a mentor, coach and assessor for the last eight years. Jaco currently conducts walking trails in the Kruger National Park. His immense passion and knowledge of the bush are evident in all he does. In 2016 he was awarded the prestigious Safari Guide of the Year award. Always cognisant of the bigger picture, Jaco is also involved in anti-poaching fundraising initiatives for the Kruger National Park.

 

 

   

 Lorraine Doyle

Lorraine Doyle is the founder of Africa Nature Training and our principal trainer. She is a perfectionist by nature and this is reflected in all that she does. The meticulous standards attained by the company are a direct result of her hands-on management approach. She has an Honours Degree in Nursing and spearheaded an Intensive Care Unit in the UK for several years. Lorraine has a Professional Field Guide qualification, a Trails Guide qualification, a Level 2 Tracking qualification and is also a registered Savanna Biome Specialist Guide. She is a FGASA and CATHSSETA registered assessor. She is exceptionally talented in the subjects of grasses and trees and also has a keen interest in astronomy and geology. 

 

 

   

Massimo Rebuzzi 

Massimo Rebuzzi (pictured front right) has fifteen years' experience as a field guide. He has worked in Botswana and South Africa as a specialist safari guide and has also been involved in the training of guides for five star private game lodges. He holds a Professional Trails Guide qualification through FGASA, is a FGASA assessor and is especially passionate about tracking and birding. In 2016 he was one of six finalists in the prestigious Safari Guide of the year award and winner of the tracking and shooting categories.
